Uber Elder + item rarity support

Is it worth doing Uber Elder using item rarity support? To give the final attack.

Would I get better items or it just drops more rare items?

IIR influences how much of the items dropped raise in quality. you raise the chance to get magic or rare stuff, in stead of normal. but afaik it doesn't affect the rolls on the items.

But afaik shaper/elder items just drop as rare, so you might get a little higher chance for ilvl 86 shaper/elder items. I'm just not sure which way the calculation works here (first normal/shaper/elder and then IIR or first IIR and then a shaper/elder roll for the rare ones).
