Worked for me and another 1000 players. You are doing something wrong (no offense). Read the challenge again. Do you have the right essence? Aren't you trying to corrupt, idk, legion monolith instead?

I bet he's trying it on a legion monilith. It's really on an essence tower thing, I didn't even know they were called moniliths until this challenge.
