lion's roar knockback.

this is not a bug but i didn't know where else to create the post.

anyway as a melee physical based class. lion's roar is a core item and yet the knockback effect and "mechanic as a whole" makes us weaker vs certain enemies by knocking them away and causing out of sync issues. almost every single monster that does not die in one or 2 hits will give me pain to figure out where he was knocked "back" and so i think that lions roar knockback effect should be removed .......

+1. Remove it.

Cyclone is the only melee skill that can benefit from its knock back effect.

They said they'll buff melee skill, but in fact, they only buff cyclone.

And you should have another '25% more' - modifier without any downsides why exactly?
Funny, the Lion's Roar Knockback is actually useful even for REAL melee users, as long as they also use an alternative AoE/projectile skill and/or know when to use it precisely (sandwiching a boss vs the walls of the arena and/or needing to stop other monsters close combat attacking your char etc.)...

Having the Knockback effect is great, as long as you don't rely on Lion's Roar for consistent damage, and you lack a "cannot knockback" mod, not to mention Empire's Grasp which would ensure you actually knockback relevant enemies TOWARDS your char.

There is a plethora of options regarding the mitigation of the knockback, it's just that those actually requires a bit of thought, instead of the "auto-flask piano" mentality.

IMHO, it should stay as it is, as that unique flask is actually balanced with a reward/opportunity cost in mind...

PS: Still use my Lion's Roar, and I always used it on my main (and various secondary characters) with very compelling efficiency....
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...

i guess the problem is not the knockback itself, but all the sync problem that comes with it.

thats why OP starts his post with not even knowing if here is the right place for it.

Cyclone could have this 25% more modifier without any downsides. Why should other melee skills have this downside? Because this game is Path of Cyclone?

Why not just play cyclone? You don't have to sacrifice life, attack speed, attack range, or resists on gloves.

Welcome to Path of Cyclone!

Cry me a river. Cyclone also suffers from knockback if the build doesn't have millions of dps.

What? Did you ever play cyclone? You just need enough moving speed, and you can ignore knock back effect.
