Anyone know if ground slam is affected by passive talents that increase AOE radius? also if you get Avatar of flame + does Spell power increases increase damage of Ground Slam since it is now Elemental?

AoE increase should effect it.
Spell damage will not effect avatar of fire as it is still considered an "attack" and not a "spell". However any elemental or fire damage passives will effect avatar of fire. | |

Thankyou for your input, now i wonder how AOE increase would affect it, aka making it wider or narrower with long range..

If you check the description of the AoE increase, you should see it says "increased Area of Effect Radius" - that's how it applies. It's a percntage increase to the radius of the area of effect. All areas of effect in PoE are circles of parts thereof.
Ground slam is a quarter-circle - a 90-degree arc. Increasing the radius of the circle means it reaches further from your character, and is wider out there (because the corner is placed at your character). | |

What is the max range for a hit?
