How to run the game in the 64bit version?

Hello, so i've decided to reinstall my windows, so I had to reinstall PoE, after I did that, my game now runs in the 32bit client always, and I dont see the option to change to directx11 in the options. I've tried running the 64bit executable but it still launches the 32bit version. Any ideas?

What windows have you installed?
Something must be very wrong because only DX11 version is possible but you no longer have a option to change DX version since the DX9 version was removed in release 3.6. Maybe that is what is confusing you? Regarding the version, the 64bit client luncher is here --> C:\Program Files (x86)\Grinding Gear Games\Path of Exile\PathOfExile_x64.exe I had to make a shortcut to this file to get it to work.... |

What confused me was that in the task manager it says that the 32bit version is running. |

Are you using the Steam client or the standalone client?
I find it difficult to justify optional purchases to support a Tencent-owned development studio that declines to provide customers Technical Support, regardless of how many thousands of euros that customer has spent...
