SimCity 2013

Anyone playing this game by chance?

I picked it up on Friday, and apart from the Server Stability issues that Maxis had been experiencing I've had an amazing time! - Enough to put down Path of Exile for a few days to feed my god-complex addiction!
Yup i got it, plx send me picture of yfw you realize that you cant really make anything bigger than village :D
I'm currently at work right now, so can't take any pics - but my last city was sitting at around 160k people and still going strong - full industrial/commercial town without any real specialization.

The new town I'm playing in a private league is going on around 80k people but is specialized in Electronics/Recycling.

Hopefully they'll increase the land sizes soon, it's actually my biggest complaint about the game - the other being the crappy vehicle AI/pathing.
At work too *fistbump*

I had HUGE problems with AI, but its all good now thankx to either the new patch or the fact that i make my blocks more of a rectangle shape rather then pure squares.

And yea that area size is a huge downer for me :( i only played 2000 and sc3 but i always tend to make HUGE megapolis with everything they need. Now they force me to coop with whole region, nice feature for multiplayer guys but i hate it.

But wth, i still enjoy the game and its best city builder out there, well worth the money.
(tho blizz like 1usd = 1euro policy is killing me!)

Same here.

There's no Subways.

No Power Lines.

No Pipes.

No Terraforming (No hills).

No Agriculture.

Therefore it's not SimCity...It's SimCity Lite, like what you'd give to a younger sibling or a child under 6 so they easily understand. Imagine Path of Exile without the Gear & Skill Tree...that's more-or-less the new SimCity.

Also, it's EA and Origin-based...have fun with that. And the fact that EA are currently writing the book on how NOT to launch a product to the consumer with the endless issues going on right now.

Ultimate SimCity experience = SimCity 3000 IMO.

just do like me and wait for the GOTY addition or something similar. I am sure at least some of what you mentioned will show up in DLC or expansions. From what I have seen and read the Glassbox engine may just truly not be able to handle all of that yet but given some time I bet(or at least hope) a lot of these missing features will eventually make it into the game.

I imagine one boring weekend I wont be able to resist it and buy it or if the impossible happens and I am ready for a break from PoE.
I may get it eventually at the bargain bin for $5.00, but it's not a adult game, more of a kids game, and that is fine just don't give it the name of a series meant for older people.

Basically single core
Haven't heard any news if it is a 64 bit executable or at least 32 bit with large address aware. Probably not giving the above point.

Probably wouldn't use more than 10% of my computers full potential.

I want a game that will make my computer beg for leniency, doubt even Crysis 3 can do that.
