I guess PoE is the forums for all D3 haters...
Even after a months I left, there's still the same kind of posts.

Think of it this way: Diablo has had 15 years worth of fans. That's a lot of emotional investment for some. Think about a love interest that spurned you with its latest instalment (or compare ME3 for a recent example).

PoE is not even out, and only a fairly limited group of people even got to play it. There's not much room for building negative feelings against it.


Of course there are not many "PoE haters" out there. There can't be.
But there are a lot of gamers feeling disenfranchised by Diablo III. And of course they will be on the lookout for an alternative for their once beloved game - PoE for example.

But, once again, generalizing that "all D3 haters" must be here adds nothing to the debate. It even serves to put the backs up of those people who would like to have civilized debate.

About diablofans, mods dont ban people for insulting others (maybe it changed in last month). And i didnt even know about that guy.

Normally that it's not welcome. The same kind of post you'll see because new people come here that are disappointed with d3, what do you expect? Where will all people go that are disapointed in d3? You have similar threads also in torchlight 2 forum and grim dawn. People rant because they don't like somthing, some with good arguments, some with bad, or just to troll. The thing is that you're trying to defend somthing and are getting upset with people raging and bashing about d3.

same here, I can't afford to buy and play every game out there, even if they are interesting.

Passing on a game cos you think it sucks HELPS the gaming industry, or are you saying we should all go buy a $80 game that is 1 min of us watching a line then pressing X at the end? would that help the gaming industry?

As miniscule as it might be, we as consumers have only one real power when it comes to affecting the market: buy or don't buy. Your reason for this decision is really nowhere near as important as the decision itself. I'm not not-buying Diablo 3 because I want to make some grand protest, and it's certainly not because I can't afford it -- I just don't want it.

....it's really that simple.

I have played the D3 beta and it seems ok. I will probably end up getting it if some of my old D2 friends get it just for good ol times sake. PoE looks interesting but I have yet to play it so I am looking forward to this weekends open beta.

Well said, I don't want it and so i won't buy it. Part of that certainly is in a grand protest ;)
