Is it possible to craft such item?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to plan the crafting of an helmet with all 3 of these mods :

• delve suffix : nearby enemies have -9% fire resistance
• essence of horror suffix : 30% more elemental damage
• elder prefix : 1 concentrated or burning support

here is how I would try, please correct me if I'm wrong

• buy the lowest price high lvl elder helmet, preferably with a nice enchant
• craft the delve suffix with scorched fossil, try until there is at least 1 free suffix and 1 free affix (or try annulement orbs?)
• craft the prefix "suffix cannot be changed"

here is the catch,
what happens now if I use an essence of horror ?
• Prefix will be changed with a chance to roll my elder prefix
• the delve suffix will remain
• but will the essence of horror suffix appear or not since the suffix cannot be changed?


If this method does not work, is it possible to craft an helmet with both an elder, delve and essence mod?

you cant do it that way. you have to do it with ALL fossils.

Glyphic Fossil - Has a Corrupt Essence mod
Scorched Fossil - fire mods

and get lucky.

I didn't knew about the glyphic fossil, very nice
it give a mod from one of the 4 essences obtained only through corruption right?
