Atlas Rearrangement for Synthesis: LEAVE UNIQUE MAPS

I play in stadard and in leagues depending on if the league mechanics aree fun or not. I've seen all map wipes since 2013 and i have not problem with that. I have one map stash tab, 1 stash tab where i collect items that are legacy like old maps from Y1 to this day.

Why i'm not pissed of by that : CAUSE WE HAVE A VENDOR RECIPE TO HAVE NEW MAPS INSTEAD OF OLD ONE !!!

and on a side note : unique maps does not count towards atlas completion...
Path of Exile is a Casino for gambling addicts.
Gambling is not fun nor a game mechanic...

I play since 1.0 and started supporting post 1.3.0. I have also seen all the "map wipes" since 2013, and I could tolerate those as long as they had a purpose. I have 2 map stash tabs, 1 for a current edition and one for the last previous edition (they were supposed to be 1 for personal maps and another for trade, but that status is only for leagues now), and I still keep ~140 maps of the first edition (had around 5-600 of the Awakening edition and somewhere between 1200-1500 of the Atlas of Worlds ones), and let me tell you it was "annoying" to convert the AoW ones to WftA maps.

Doing that even with the VENDOR RECIPE TO HAVE NEW MAPS INSTEAD OF OLD ONES >1500-2000 times manually is in no way an option.

And on that same side note: UNIQUE MAPS POST 2.4.0 ALWAYS COUNTED TOWARDS ATLAS COMPLETION!!!

TencentGGG needs to GIT GUD & UP TO SNUFF!!! and address once and for all the "map tab fiasco" (lately I don't even try to reach maps on leagues because I hate the non-removable plethora of map tabs in Standard).

We already have enough problems regarding micro-management of "useless clutter", we don't need more regarding the way we actually access content in PoE...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...

Resetting my atlas non-unique maps sucked the first time they did it, because the recompletion mechanic was terrible. As the person above said, I regarded those as achievements to be accomplished once, not something I'd have to keep re-doing.

And yeah, it has pretty much dulled my enthusiasm for continuing my standard character, who just beat shaper for the first time to complete the elder shaper event. I didn't even go around and complete the uniques because sure enough, they're wiping them again. I had all but 2 done when they wiped them last time.

"casuals" probably aren't going to have the currency to reinvest in the rarest Unique maps again (and again). Why wipe progress in the "permanent" game?
Some mornings it's not worth chewing the straps off...
