Herald of ice, quick question

Hi guys, my question regarding this skill is the following:let's say I have a weapon with +%to spell damage, +Xdamage to spell and +%to cold damage. If I correctly understood the first two should not affect the skill, but what about the third? Does it increase the damage I do while the aura is on?

Herald of Ice increases all the Cold Damage you do.

herald of ice adds flat cold damage onto skill as well as having the explosion.

the cold damage bonus will scale with anything affecting the skill you are using (as long as it can effect elemental damage)

the actual explosion is "secondary damage" meaning it does not scale off of attack or spell modifiers. but it can still scale off of area, cold, or generic damage increases

essentially, it is not an actual spell (or attack), so you have to use more generic increases
