(Necromancer Survivability) I have no clue what I am doing wrong

TO OP - game is balanced around trade but you can play SSF if you want it´s up to you but it´s harder especially for new player.

Alley_cat´s tree looks solid once you will respec.

Btw Pledge of Hands is a fine choice for skeleton mage MoM build.
It has "free link - Spell Echo" and nice 100% mana boost.

Herald of Ice is not an aura it won´t work. On the other hand Anger will buff their damage. You can also use Haste but benefit is lower.
Btw you should rather make your own thread or ask in Guide´s topic to not confuse OP and other people here.
