Question about tombfist

With a Searching Eye Jewel Socketed,
Maim Enemies for 4 seconds on Hit with Attacks"
Lets say my main skill is Bv but its not an"attack", so i use "frenzy or and attack skills " to hit enemy first, is it make enemies "intimidated " so they can take 10 more damage from my BV
