While I can appreciate that 24 hours may perhaps be on the long side, I'm not sure people (should...) need to be told not to spam other people's chat boxes with ASCII spam specifically designed to use as much space as possible.

I'm not 'Sarno' on Discord. I don't know who that is.
That is a fair point I didn't consider. I just assumed it was fine considering I've seen it over 20 times. My bad. That said this seems harmless compared to the RMT spam chat for hours as well as some very inappropriate chat and character names that are everywhere.

Same thing happened to me today I assume they're cracking down on it since I've noticed it showing up a lot less recently. Seems kind of harst to me if I think a mute is still justified though to enforce the rule but 24 hours seems like alot.
Posting toucan have always resulted in a long mute.
Entire global is being spammed when someone post

So report them.

Your copy/paste spam is not original. GGG can auto-ban that pretty easily. People who spam RMT services are constantly changing up their messages to get around being auto-filtered. They also persist with multiple accounts (so even when they do get blocked, they just resume with another account). That's why it seems to be more prevalent. You are quick and easy to effectively be dealt with, RMTers are not. If people (for whatever reason) were resolved to spam toucans all day, it would indeed be just as disruptive.
