First Time POE Build please help

Hello everyone

after a long break from PoE (couldn't get into the game back then), I decided to pick it up again and play a similar build like last time.

The idea behind the build is basically the D2 chain lightning / energy shield Sorceress.
After tons and tons of research and theory crafting I finally came up with a build.
I will be wearing a shield and wand for more resistances

Main Skills will be Arc and Stormbrand, so lots of lightning damage ;)

Here are my current theory crafted setups:

Defense First: LvL <60


Add Damage: LvL 75



Swapping to CI: LvL 77


After that I hopefully have a good enough understanding what this character needs. As for now I will try to hit more Jewel slots past lvl 77.

I know this build won't be the best thing ever, but my questions are:

1. Is this build at least viable enough to finish the story?
2. Is this build lacking either damage or survivability?
3. Did I miss any mayor passives or made some big mistakes?
