This seems like the natural cycle of every league.
First blame it on bugs. Second blame it on balance/desing. Third blame it on the trading system. Fourth blame it on RNG grinding. Fifth blame it on the game being dead "two weeks after league launch". ----------------------------------- And ofc repeat the cycle every patch. Not sure what you are despising Trade so much for. You play this game on your PC, not on Xbox. So stop whining.

Delve was an amazing league and probably the best one i played in ~5.5 years. Left after three weeks and 32 challenges, was about to get 36 in the next day most of what was required was almost done.
And then trading killed me again, i just woked up and asked myself why the fck should i accept to spend so much time and the hassle that come with in a video game to trade bunch of items this way instead of using this time to do something more entertaining on another game. Simple as that. Betrayal and improvements that came with are both amazing, and improved a lot of aspect of PoE, i havn't felt having so much fun and smooth experience for a long time but .. I doubt i will even make it to next week for the same reason. Tried to do all efforts possible to enjoy playing PoE with this discutable design decision but it just won't come back at this point.
