Calculating Effective life total.......
" If someone had 6k life then assuming they have ~300% increased life they would need a base of 1,500 life. About 600 comes from level and other passives, ~175 from strength. Leaving ~725 or so to come from equipment. 600 life - level/passives 175 life - strength 725 life - item mods * 4 - IML = 6k Notice, that almost half the life comes from equipment! The formula is actually quite correct. There's a minor malfunction (in my opinion) or it is intended, I could not know at this point. Starting life (SL): 42 Strength life (StL): Strenght/2 Level Life (LL): Level*8 Additive Skill Tree Bonus (ASL): Flat Value Additive Item Bonus (AIL): Flat Value Multiplicative Skill Tree (MSL): Multiplicative Value, % Multiplicative Item (MIL): Multiplicative Value, % As this topic and the wiki suggests Life = (SL + StL + LL + ASL + AIL)*(1+MSL+MIL) How it works in fact (tested with Carnage Heart): Life = (SL + StL + LL + ASL + AIL)*(1+MSL) + (SL+StL+LL)*MIL Which actually means, that if you have a Carnage Heart, that reduced your life by 25% and 3 nods, that increase your life by 25%, the 3 nods will give you more life then the Carnage Heart would reduce. Example: Starting life: 42 Str life: 500/2 = 250 Level Life = 100*8 = 800 Additive Skill Tree Bonus :76 Additive Item Bonus : 500 Multiplicative Skill Tree : 300% Multiplicative Item : -25% Life = (42+250+800+76+500)*(1+3) + (42+240+800)*(-0.25) which is exactly with 576*0.25 = 144 life less reduced | |
I have almost 6k life with a very mediocre gear at lvl 76. Also 226 % increased life from the passive tree.
