Increased Item Rrarity not working with dots? will that be fixed?

Hi, i just noticed in the game mechanic thread that IIR is useless to me since Im a CI fire witch and everything usually dies from my burning damage.

Edit, cause its only the support gems modifier that dont work.

I think there is a fair chance it will be fixed, but the chances of it being soon are very low. The problem has been known for at least a year and developers have stated before that fixing it has low priority.

Fuck... No wonder my loot collecting fire traps aren't doing much. I thought that was so clever too. Culling strike, iiq, and iir on a low level fire trap would be so awesome :(.

I would have expected this to take higher priority...
