Beginner looking for build....or overview

Hey Guys,

i'm new to PoE (came from diablo lul) and just finished my first playthrough yesterday with a selfbuild elementalist and at least 50 deaths on Kitava :D so i thought I ask here what build you can recommend on 3.4? I checked the class section and google but there a like a million builds and i'm only getting more and more confused.
Today i wanted to start delve and maybe you can recommend me a few builds to try out.
i'm pretty much open to anything, doesnt matter if range or melee, maybe a bit tanky and not a glass cannon. And I'm not the biggest fan of totems or minions :)

Buy every active skill gems(spell and attack). Go to act 1 first zone, use the skill. No need to link it* or get fancy about it... You just want to look at the animation and how it feel.


Like it ? Write it down in notepad or put it in stash,
Dont like ? Click on the gem and type /destroy or drop it in the zone to forget it ever existed.

Voila! You found skills you wanna play!


*Unless you want to use an attack or spell via totem, trap or mine. Then you gota have those 2 linked to try it.


IF you came here via some hate.. Could always look into Whispering Ice build. A inexpensive build that use a staff with a skill already inside. Ice storm! Its better than Blizzard for sure ;)

You can look at my Gladiator build in my signature if you want. I made it with the newbie player in mind. The Duelist/Gladiator is the easiest character in the game in my opinion. The Marauder/Juggernaut is the second easiest.
