annoying LAG everyday and every hour

Dear GGG team,
i am an XBOX user from China, I an suffering very bad gaming experience about the lag issue.
it happens every day, almost every hour.

the connection is smooth in the morning(Beijing time, GMT+0800), since 6:00am through about 11:00am, then the nightmare begin. game freeze all from time to time(the interval could be seconds, minutes), no matter which server I connect.

the situation will get better in the afternoon since about 2:00pm through 4:00pm. during this period, the game is just ok to play. there are lags here and there, but you won't be kicked off the game, at least you can connect to the game server.

in the night, it is absolutely not possible to play the game. you will be kicked off the game if you are lucky, what ever which game server you connected.

i have just been kicked out the game a few minutes ago(11:30am GMT+0800, RU server). the whole game freeze and I try to login again, but impossible. finally I made the login, and found my T7 unique map portal disappeared!!!

I do hope this daily lag issue only happen to Chinese users.
can you GGG please solve the lag issues for China XBOX users? it's really horrible gaming experience having every day lag issue and you can not play the game at all after you dinner.

thank you.
cheers,
a Chinese XBOX POE fan

If you're experiencing problems during peak internet use hours, the issue may be your ISP and not GGG's fault.

Use only a "wired" connection. Don't try running the game over WiFi. PoE takes a pretty big pipeline of data to run properly. I had my connection upgraded to a 1 Gb connection and noticed a significant reduction in lag. I have a friend that I play with that runs a 3 Gb connection and he has little to no lag. But, we both experience occasional crashes. (They have become considerably less common after the latest patch, though.)

Use your XBox's diagnostics to check your connection statistics. It's under Settings -> Network -> Network Settings menu. Check everything. Ideally, you want less than a 50ms latency with no packet loss. (30 ms latency or less is ideal.)

Check these statistics during the periods of the day that you're having trouble. If they're noticeably worse, contact your ISP. It may be that they are not properly handling their load problems during these peak hours. If your connection is always bad or sub-par, check your own wiring to be sure you aren't causing the issue with a bad wiring set-up for your home network. Also, reset your modem (turn it off, wait a minute, turn it back on). If your modem is old and is supplied by your ISP, then ask them to replace it with a newer model. That could help, too.

Usually, issues during peak internet usage times are entirely your ISP's problem. It's possible, though, that there is a node between you and GGG servers that is causing the problem and is outside of your ISP's control. Using a PC, you can get more detailed traceroute information using various apps. See the PC Troubleshooting instructions in the PF forum for the game on how to do this. (It's also possible to install and run an App using your XBox.)
Morkonan is probably right here. I've had that problem more times that I want to remember. Greedy fuckers... you better start the complaints to your ISP technical support because they're gonna take their sweet time to fix your problem.
Now is 21:23PM(GMT+0800, Beijing time), and I ran WinMTR as per the instructions from forum.
my results as below for US server(us.xbox.pathofexile.com, the faster server to me):

surely, there are some package lost in China(202.97.f*K.ISP), but it getter even worse when it was in US. I am not the expert to analyse this, maybe someone could help me on this?

my network is 200Mb and by connecting to my ShadowSocks server in California, I can watch 1080P youtube without freeze. So I don't think it is my bandwidth issue.

cheers,

I don't see why they don't just support offline on consoles, I mean the reason behind not allowing it on PC was because of possible mods and hacks but that isn't how the consoles work there isn't that kind of freedom for people to do that stuff on there, so really there is no logical reason they can't support online and offline on the console version of the game like Diablo 3, sure Diablo 3 had some saves modded and what not but easy fix to avoid that affecting the online portion of the game would be to have seperate saves between offline and online, online saves can be stored to server and offline can just be local.
