Half of sound effects stop working.

After update and 2 restarts, I am having audio troubles still. Going through maps and delve with lots of sounds like shatter, spells casting, lightning strikes, item drops, etc; and half of them just stop working.

Not sure if it is only affecting me with Dolby Atmos audio setup on Xbox and Optical audio out, but it did not do this before..

I can confirm the same is happening on PC as well.

had the same yesterday.
was just one delve.
didnt happen again after that.

Either of you guys using the Dolby Atmos upgrade for PC? If so that might narrow it down.

I am not using Dolby Atmos.

Can confirm, PC happens this too, in Delve, intermittently.

Not as severe as the XBox example, in my case. My impression is that too many SFX things happening at the same time, and the ?POE sound engine? just can't handle it depending on the base (PC hw & sw/drivers as well as Xbox). Otherwise, more players on the PC (reddit) would have posted about it.

I will see if I can catch it on video too and post my system details.

Both.

First time it was through my TV speakers with no party chat via HDMI.

After first reset it happened I was in a party, with party audio set to headset only. Which was going through Optical out to my Turtle Beach Stealth 800x. Which is when then clip was recorded, you can see my party chat people on the left in white text.

2nd reset was a hard reset. No party chat, TB headset.

Same issue here on PC. In fact the one day it happened crashed the game. It happens often when Niko is talking.
