Latency issues since few days (anyone can read mtr ?)

Hi,
Since a few days i got latency issues : while the ping is good (10-25ms), there is quite frequent spike on the graphics (a few on each "graphic page") but ingame it's more like damn huge rubberbanding issue... Hardly playable when games pauses a few seconds or many freezes during actions vs packs/hard hitting boss... but graphics says it's ok, just a few spike and same good ping... Few days before the problem i recieved a message from my ISP telling there was an issue on my connection and that it'll be fixed as soon as possible. But i had no problem at this time. Now i got issues but, as always, only on PoE, with both computers. Here comes the winMTR but i can't tell when the packet loss are considered a problem and when it's ISP issue or when it's between ISP & GGG servers. https://pastebin.com/C19VG0m6 " My connection caracteristics : -fibre since 6 month, 45Mb up&down, but atm tests varies between 10 & 50 down -ethernet for one computer, wifi for the other, same issue Thanks for help. The top line is your modem, the bottom line is the server, and everything in between is the route your traffic takes to get from one to the other (beginning with your ISP). The connection between your computer & modem seems excellent, but immediately after that we see packet loss, and massively inflated latency values. if, like in your case, your router has communication issues with your provider's first device, you can try to switch off your router, leave it off for 5 minutes so your provider's device forgets about the connection settings, and plug it back in.
your router/modem will then negotiate new settings (channels..frequencies) with it's counterpart. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

Just had confirmation from ISP that there is a pending issue that is scheduled to be fixed tomorow. I'll answer it once it's fixed to confirm there is no other issue.
I got no single device between my box and the ISP line, i've already rebooted it and reset the options, didn't change. I've set game to predictive, it's a little bit better but sometimes real hard time... so i'll wait and hope it's fixed before Delve ! :) |
