Uber elder

So i did uber elder a few times, but this time when i have killed shaper and elder both, yet they were alive. i died to see if they would go away after i enter the portal, however even after entering the map they are both still alive no HP and energy shield on them. can someone tell me if they were having problems like this on the Texas server?
