vaal skills soul sustain tips pls

hello guys im running vaal power shipopn build and i have a few doubts regarding sustain souls

so do jewels chill of courruption and sacrificial harvest still work with vaal power shipon this patch?
and also have 2x soulripper whats the right time to use them? after both soulripper are out of charges should i use another vaal skill and wait 4 seconds or kill mobs with normal skill till i get my flaskcharges bacK?
any other tips regarding sustain vaal skill souls?
new vaal skill usage is kinda confusing and im not able to find any guides
