What do You guys think? iLvl ∞ spectres = infinite delve?

i believe 86+ far from "infinite" dwelling...so monsters will somehow scale in difficulty in only Chris knows way but ilvl and spectre lvl stay the same. I'm afraid of this league more and more.

Infinite only means the monsters will grow infinitely difficult. This can be done in dozens of ways without touching their level or the ilvl of the zone. A simple +X% life and damage per delve level after 86 would be the simplest brain-dead solution for example.

It would be a HUGE oversight to let specters level infinitely as well.

That's it. What's the point of dwelling deeper? Will we be able to reset mine and dont struggle on 1000th floor for no reason (leaderboard will be something for unhuman monsters spending 100hrs\day).

So if this is true, and iLvl above 86 doesn't make any difference...

I can think of a couple of reasons.

1) Specters
2) No affixes exist today, but they will exist in the future as ilvls go up with expansions. Someone sitting on standard with rares of ilvl 600 will cause problems in the future, almost guaranteed.
3) Unforeseen bugs with ilvls being too high that slipped through testing because they were only theoretically possible

For the purposes of delve, they do not NEED to raise the lvl of the monsters. They can provide the infinite difficulty in other ways and technically is probably safer to do so this way.
