Lag spikes/desync since latest patch

Ever since installing the latest patch (3.3.2), the game has been lagging/desynching: I'm able to move my character and queue actions, but monsters remain frozen. This continues until I either disconnect, or sometimes everything will happen at once with characters moving rapidly across the screen.

Have tried deleting minimap folder, lowering graphics settings, and switching versions of DirectX, to no avail.

Did a WinMTR trace to the California server:

On wired Ethernet connection and only have one computer.

same here us east server (washington d.c.)

Character freeze then about 5-6 seconds later game resumes with like minions running around and or monsters like fast forward to catch up to current time. Kinda annoying happens in partys and in solo game play. Not my internet either because watching or listening to U tube at the same and nothing happens just in POE get these huge lagg spikes.
Same problem for me and there are also lots of other people with the same problem like we. I already reached out to the support but that wasn't really helpful either.
Managed to resolve the issue by turning off engine multithreading. Seems to have worked for now, managed to play for a few hours without crashing this time.
