No Sound Driver Detected Error
I have recently been battling a sound issue on my laptop and finally managed to fix it today. Now I have a new issue being that upon opening Path of Exile I do not get any sound. This appears to be due to an error "No sound driver detected" that can be seen on the options "Sound" tab.
I have restarted my computer. I have reinstalled my sound drivers. I have verified that all the sound drivers are up to date. I have reinstalled Path of Exile. I have re-opened Path of Exile multiple times. I have used the "Run as Administrator" option. I have also used the -swa and --softwareaudio command line options. At this point I have not seen any other solutions to this on the forums and am now at a loss on how to get Path of Exile to recognize that my sound drivers are present. I have no sound issues with any other program. Last bumped on Aug 12, 2018, 5:17:28 AM

Just curious, dont you use by any chance MSI notebook? Because turning off Nahimic 2 (audio software from MSI) worked for my friend so far.

Thanks for the info, but no that doesn't apply. I'm using an Alienware 17 R5.
