3:38, around there is really good stuff. I like the way you step off on sidestep tangents throughout the track. I thought however that the track took way too long to establish a direction, and the snares around 1:00 sound a bit wishy washy and not quite in line with the Inception style booms - you could tighten the snares up and have a much shorter intro. Even if you don't do a drop in the track after a build, there's got to be some build/progression, even if it's really subtle.
You definitely have a talent for it that you can work on developing. For reference, two older, simple tracks that are big on tight sounds and a slow burn, Forgive me if you are up with Electronic Music 1o1: Vicious Circles Energy Flash Higher State of Consciousness That there's a music thread in here is cool! Hopefully others post stuff too. I've been having fun with finding and listening to re-interpretations / remixes/ mash-ups lately.
