While We Wait (patiently) for Tab Pricing, How about this?

Clearly implementing the ability to set a single offer price for an entire tab is proving somewhat challenging. Personally, I'd rather wait for GGG to nail it, but in the meantime:

GGG, how about you set up a default price - probably under options but where ever works

Naturally the default price would likely default to no price (same as currently).
But a player could set a default price of 1 chaos say (similar to current pricing where you may choose a number and a currency).
Now if the player places an item on public stash tab, when they use the A button on that item the pricing screen will pop up with the default price already entered. The player just then exits the pricing screen and the price is set to the default.

Not as efficient as whole tab pricing, but in my opinion, way less work/hassle than having to enter "1" and select "chaos" for each and every applicable item.

So I could set my default price to One Alc and price all my one alc items and then change it to another price and so on.

As a side benefit, it will introduce players to the risks of automatic pricing - you have to remember when you have a default price in effect. Perhaps the default price should default back to blank on logout (a trade off of efficiency for a bit of bubble wrap - but as is my wont, in that case I suggest making the auto reset a further option).

(I figure having the default price take effect without going through the pricing screen would be considered too far, too fast - it gives me pause at least.)

Sounds like a decent temporary measure until full tab pricing is available.

Well it has been a week and not a peep since the patch release conversations regarding an update to restore the "move stash tab" function. And now we have hit a stash tab sale without the ability to position a newly purchased tab. It's disappointing but I presume unavoidable.

With that in mind, I repeat my suggestion regarding a default price option while we wait for Tab Pricing.

And, on a personal note, if GGG thought that time heals all wounds, I am still unhappy with the "Push Stick" to search/reply change.

Hmm I think an easier temporary solution might be a copy function. You price one item, copy and then go to another item and paste the price. No need to add something to the options menu etc. TBH, if this would work, we wouldn't even really need the stash tab pricing, but ofc its the ultimate goal and also I have to say, its advertised, that a premium tab has this feature.
OMG another patch and still no stash tab pricing, its getting ridiculous...
Now, I decide to have no hope for trading and changing server.
For those who might not have noticed it:

(confirmation that stash tab pricing is likely a ways off)

So how about a stop gap measure then?
