Blade Vortex Vs Bosses

Hey guys. I just made my first damage forward character and hit level 90. I’ve got a 4 link ethereal knives that clears maps with ease but I’m trying to figure out how to accentuate Blade Vortex in a way to kill bosses. I have 6 link potential for it but it’s my first time doing anything like this and first time using spell based damage.

Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can kill some higher bosses, or at least clear elders a little easier? I’ve tried using it with 4L poison support and it was seemingly potential but not quite sustainable ticking damage.

Just go non-crit Blade Vortex in a 5 or 6-link. Vaal BV melts through bosses, so you should have an easy time if you're already using an EK build. Path of Building can give you the most accurate damage supports.

Hey mate, go 6 link, use Vaal Blade Vortex, it gives you the normal blade vortex, and also the vaal version which you use like a 3 sec smart bomb for bosses. Links are usually increased critical strikes, controlled destruction, physical to lightning, hypothermia(if using cold conversion gloves hrimsorrow), efficacy, concentrated effect.
Hard to given better advice without knowing if you are pure physical dps, or elemental conversion which is the usual build. Remember to level all your gems to 20/20.

Thanks man. This is what i was looking for. I'm fully converted to elemental, mostly cold/lightning/chaos. It just does not feel like im doing damage that i should be doing on bosses.
