i dont understand new power siphon

couple days into the league, ppl will realize its slightly worse then KB in terms of clearspeed (at same investment) and worse then barrage when it comes to ST... ends up as utility skill to generate powercharges for bossfights lul.

Damn, you guys need to relax. Quit trolling this guy, the title of the thread shows he's just looking for somebody explain why it's not OP, but you guys just start yelling at him because this type of thing is a common mistake? I reiterate; damn, you guys need to relax.

I'm no expert, but let me take a wack at it. PS will never be able to out clear KB because there is no AOE component to it, which means it will only ever hit mobs up to the number of projectiles it has where as KB hits the entire screen. The fact that it does a little more damage and crits a lot doesn't change this.

As for ST it's hard to say because we don't know how the ability behaves. If all 7 projectiles would hit the same target then yeah it would be pretty OP, but I doubt that is the case. If only 1 projectile hit's any given target then it's crap ST. We'll have to wait and see on this.

Either way it's best use will come in the form of some sort of CoC-splosion build. With built in Culling strike and free Power charges it should streamline your CoC nicely. (that's right, I said it)

It is OP, and its definitely path of projectiles but you forget its a wand only ability. Will it be better than KB? Lol no chance KB is like path of projectiles but where your aoes have aoes after their projectiles.

So basically wander = Barrage + KB still, Psiphon maybe used for power charge generation but as it doesn't fly for bosses and it isn't that hard these days i'm not sure about that either.

VPS will still probably be hilarious though.

I think it will still be worse, than both current wand abilities, for they intended purposes, kb = clear and barrage = single.

Looks pretty good tho and an alternative with vaal PS included. Even if u dont use it on your main setup it will probably end up being used as utility for power charge gain on bosses.

Never got the interest in cull. If I can get a mob down to 10%, it's going to die anyway. If that 10% was significant, it's taken too long to get a mob there already. The Slayer's 20% cull starts to make some sense. 10% just isn't high enough of a threshold to be of any interest to me.
