Closest one I can think you mean is streamer ZiggyD. Here's his Incursion look at new traps and supports:

Trappers aren't my favorite, but maybe these new traps will help. Seems just like a weaker form of spell casting with a different set of modifiers. Only played a couple of them though. Got an HC one up to 43 in the flashback.

Having trouble with Malachai… traps don't seem to work well on him. Probably the ground effects taking the traps out before they can damage him.
