Yes! The old Orchard map devourer boss was especially nasty as it was during PoE:The Desync Years versions and any lag or desync meant we were dead before we could even see that creature coming out of the ground (worse than a Graboid).

When they introduced Devourers in Weavers Chambers. No no, not few of them white happy devourers monsters. A crap load of rares that used to pop up whenever you moved. And you couldn't escape. Good ole times, eh?

Monster Mods: All nearby allies reflect physical damage and All nearby allies reflect elemental damage.

Also, though still somewhat recent, the old volatile blood mod, ouch!

It was before I played the game (I think), but the best one I've heard of is rare suicide bombers from Western forest.


I remember when they used to give XP when they suicided. So you would just run through the zone back and forth and grind levels with no effort.
