Game crashing a lot in last few days

I think game began crashing much more often in last few days.

I cant see a pattern. I play, all of the sudden program performed illegal operation shows up and client closes.

I can re-enter the zone and it does not crash again.

This has been the case for me since 3.1, many moons ago. I have been e-mailing techsupport on and off for the last few months without any help. They keep saying it's my internet connection, but this never happened before the 3.1, I've tried all the forum suggestions of disabling multithreading, changing gateways, disable firewalls, re-installing, etc. Game keeps crashing.
