Game crash

Hello, I am having trouble playing, at the main menu i hit the login button (I am a steam user) and am able to go to the character screen fine, I select the character I want to play and hit play. then it goes to the loading screen with the town name, sits their for about 2 minutes then disconnects and says due to server. Also sometimes the game just crashes at the main menu
