Oh my god. This does not bode well for GGG. Hopefully they will be able to restore wiped accounts. Dare I turn my xbox on?

That's my hope as well. That they aren't actually gone, gone. I had gotten lucky this time around and doubt I'll have the same luck so hopefully it all works out.

If they can "touch" player character files with a patch, then they'll have some sort of backup process that includes them. If they don't...
