Continuous lag spikes ever 30-60 seconds, 24/7

as the title mentions im having lag spikes every 30-60 seconds that freeze my character for a good 2-6 seconds each time.

I tried lockstep, auto and predictive and nothing really helps. Predictive wont freeze my character and the enemies but it will rubber band them as much and as often as it lagspikes when on lockstep.

My speed is around 20mbps, im not having any lag or lag spikes in any other game or instance but this one.

I tried also resetting my router and changing the gateways in the log in screens but it doesnt do anything.

here are my WinMTR results from:

1) Frankfurt - https://pastebin.com/CRahAyeg

2) London - https://pastebin.com/Xzd7rpw9
(when i pushed start nothing happened at all, i clicked stop and pasted it for those results)

3) Amsterdam - https://pastebin.com/Gc20queC

Couple of things.

Your speed is irrelevant. Same thing with not having any issues in any other games/whatever. Your traffic to GGG's servers takes a completely different path than it would to any other server.

You are also running the outdated .8 version of WinMTR. You need to run the v0.92. Also, make sure you are playing while having your issues.

i mentioned my speed cause people usually jump to the conclusion my speed is slow by it self, causing lags and connection issues...

I followed the official forum guide regarding this found here https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789/page/1#p11291009 ,thats where i got the outdated .8 version of WinMTR.

What exactly do you mean "make sure you are playing while having your issues"? Im not actually sitting in the town for hours and having lag spikes (tho it happends in towns just as much as it happends outside in any zone).

Here are my new results of the WinMTR version 0.9

You'd be surprised at how many people think differently... "I have 50MB/sec why game no werk" type of thing... :(

Actually go in game and capture your issue while playing rather than just running WinMTR from your desktop without POE running. It gives us a much better data set than if you aren't in game.

Wired or wireless connection? Have you powered off both your router and modem for at least a minute (ie power cycled them)?

You are getting 2k ping at your router/modem so something is fubar.

There are my result when loging in on frankfurt and playing a few quests on a new character.

During the time i picked up Nesas medicine chest, cleared out the pit from monsters and killed the necromancer and opened the hidden water entrance with the 3 rhoa glyphs.

I did experience lag spikes as i described them only this time they were spread out more. I would play normally for a long period of time and then have several minutes of constant lag spikes that come and go every 30-60seconds

i play on wireless, the signal is strong and there was nobody but me on it (checked the router).
I did power cycled it, but i did not see any changes
Ok, well now things are becoming a bit clearer.

You are getting some packet loss in there, which isn't good and that appears to also be why you are getting that ludicrous latency as well. I know I am asking/making you do a lot of things, but it really helps. :)

Is there any chance that you can plugin to the router for me and run another MTR while wired in? I want to make certain that your packet loss only occurs while you are wireless. If it still occurs while wired, then that's another issue altogether.

sry for the late replies.

So after trying out with the cable, changing channels of the router and some other tricks i finally decided to call my isp and report some interference. They checked and confirmed they had some, completely disconnected my phone and internet access, and after that there was no more lags or packet loss.

They told me that they will call me later today to see if it stays this way. If the interference returns it means i have some technical difficulties on my side (router, phone line, cables etc) and they will send a technician for repairs.

It has returned.

You're getting a ping of 2,376 ms to your own modem. A ping of 237 ms would be bad.

the average is 40, and that's on what i was constantly playing.

i was monitoring it and the average was always around 40. When the "worst" spikes to 2500 the average stays on 90-80, after which it quickly fell down to 50-40 again and kept it there steady.

There are still 0 packets lost unlike before where i would loose almost 1/4 of them.

I did not notice a single lag spike as i was playing, and i definitely wasn't disconnected for 3-4 seconds every 30-50 seconds for hours and hours.

It is still an unacceptably high result.

Latency over 2,000 ms wasn't some one-off which never happened again; it was consistent enough to be seen in the pings to all ten hops. Not a single line shows a normal worst ping. Most logs don't show a single hop with a ping spike that bad. Yours is littered with them.
