Pretty sure there are several dog mobs. There are the ones that blow up into fiery ground outside the prison on act 1. In act 4 there are the ones that come out of the ground pens in the Arena areas of Daresso's Dream. In Act 5 there are kennels that unleash hounds on you in the Slave Pens area.

Because the next request would be "why don't we have dog dances".
Since we all know, nothing screams big whale as finding the time during an apocalyptic plague to teach your dog a dance. That's simply the natural course of things. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes
