Beta Key For Free, just give the correct answer
Hey,
a cylinder is given: high h, radius r, volume V, the volume is fix and doesn't change its value. The surface(Oberfläche) A shall be minimal. What is the value of the radius r? or what is the value of the high h? You just need to answer one question! However, the account need to be registered longer than 2 weeks or so, so a new account is not allowed and of course without an beta-account : ) Fastest correct answer wins! Good luck Sam
not sure if i understood that question but i want a beta key really badly ^^
so i just say h = 0.001 Greetz Eld
It should be h = 2*r

h = (4v/pi)^1/3
r = (v/2pi)^1/3 I am new member but hope u will appreciate my answer
the minimum surface area will occur when the height equals the diameter or 2 times the radius. Therefore it should be h = 2 * r

I think my post should be the winner tho. Seeing as I'm a long standing member, and I got the answer right first. The guy above me edited his post.
edit: Oh and he's new too! I hope I get in the beta! /crosses fingers Last edited by delslow on Feb 27, 2012, 7:44:15 PM

I'm not good at maths and I came up with this:
h= 16V/pi³ since I've created my account only a few days ago, I don't think I can win anyway ! |
