Trying to grow my shaper

Anyone got advice on how to grow my shaper up to the t15 maps on the Altas? I need to get the 11th shaper orb, I've ran like 10 corrupted carcass maps, and he's not growing very fast. Should I just do all the elder maps? Does that make your shaper grow faster
