That's just not true. If you've already mirrored the rest of your build and have infinity currency to spare (the hardcore early-league flippers get 10 mirrors within the first month of a league), then you move on to other mirrored gear (gloves/boots/helm, at least--generally your belt slot is going to be a +1 endurance charge headhunter if you're aiming for perfection in mapping, not a mirrored belt).

But *these* boots... hah. Not remotely close. These days it's all about essence-crafted shaped/elder gear.

The only thing that is truly never mirror-worthy (besides flasks) is jewels. The 4-mod max and no-essence-applicability factors make it literally always more efficient on average to craft literally any jewel you could possibly want than to mirror a jewel. Expect to finish any jewel craft in under half a mirror.
