Elemental mace comparison

I've got two maces and I'm a bit confused which is better:


The in-game calculations tell me the non-shaped one has slightly better per hit and significantly better dps, but when I do a price check for similar items on poe.trade that item is worth maybe 1c and the shaped one is 20c or more. What am I missing? Why is the shaped one worth so much more?

If I'm not mistaken, mods as "Gain XX as extra YY" are global, not local; so they give way more dps when you dual wield. I guess you can check that yourself...
