Does the Horror mod work with minions?

Hi, I crafted this helmet:


but no longer sure if it works with my spectres since the wording is a bit strange and different from the wording of support gems.
Socketed gems instead of supported skills, and the Raise Spectre gem does not deal damage directly but rather summons the minions, which apply the linked supports to their own skills (but maybe not this helm property?).
