Regarding Twitch Chat overlays for single monitor streamers

Hey was wondering if anyone who doesn't have a second monitor has used this for their Twitch stream. Just wondering if it's safe to use? All the AHK stuff are in that reddit link and stuff. Video guide too. Just wannu make sure it's safe to use.
