Sudden fps drops.

Hello there.

First of all, thanks for taking the time to read this.

I've been playing PoE since Prophecy league on and off. Some leagues pretty intensely. Never had any technical difficulties at all.
Untill 2 days ago. I come home from work, start up the pc, same as every day.
I quickly notice that everything is not the same as every day. My fps constantly dips to 0 for several seconds. That is, from about ~60 stable fps to 0. About every 5-10 seconds. I've tried alot of fixes in the past few days, but none of them have solved the problem, which seemingly have appeared out of nowhere.

It's beyond unplayable and that realy makes me sad after having spent so much money on cosmetics :S

So pretty please, with sugar on top.. help me fix whatever this problem is.
I'm happy to provide any information, but you will have to ask for it and provide me with information as to where i can find such informtation. I'm not particularly good with troubleshooting.
