Hi guys, I've done a sanity check of the Milan servers, and they're not under any unusual load. I think this is likely a connectivity problem, which is backed up by people here reporting that other EU gateways, apart from Milan, are showing the same problem. You all seem to be on Vodafone Italy as an ISP. What's the ISP situation like in Italy? If there are not many, it might just be coincidence rather than a specific ISP problem. The problems I'm seeing at the moment include: Failure to connect to the login server Latency spikes Freezes Is this happening consistently? Or just at peak times? Also, could someone run WinMTR on mil.login.pathofexile.com during the time they can't log in/select a character? It will be helpful to have a recent trace. Hi Fitzy, can confirm other EU gw have the same problems. I usually play on frankfurt or milan, and makes no difference at all. I can tell you hideout works completely fine (maybe due to less mtx and stuff loading, so less network activity), and if able to login I can usually type /hideout fast and get into it. It covers those events: 1) starting trace 2) click login on poe 3) loading highgate 4) getting the freeze 5) disconnected ("an unexepected disconnection occurred") 6) stopping the trace The thing is happening consistently every day since a week/a week and a half, at least for me. Morning is playable, 00.32 in IT right now, and this morning I played from 10 to 12~ before it started lagging again. Elaborating on the ISP situation: big 4, Telecom-Fastweb-Wind/Infostrada-Vodafone. They are all big and commercial ISPs, so for a home customer it's basically impossible getting ahold of someone in the NOC to have a true assessment of the problem.
