3 Short Pantheon Questions

Sorry if this is obvious, but:

1. Can I upgrade Pantheon powers with Divine Vessels if I use those in the shaped variants of those maps?
2. Upgrading Lunaris with Lycius: "Avoid projectiles that have chained", what exactly does "avoid" mean? Does this mean: I can't ever get hit by chained projectiles, ever? Or does this have some sort of chance to proc?
3. Do these vessels have a better / worse chance of spawning in particular areas? I am not having luck finding them and hope to not miss the obvious

1. As far as I know, yes.

2. It means you can't get hit if a projectile hit something else (like a totem) and chains to you, but you will get hit if it hits you directly.

3. I don't think they do.
