Town Suggestion

Any chance of defaulting the A button while in town to the nearest static item instead of player character?

I've sent out so many accidental trade requests to random players when trying to talk to the NPCs or use my stash, or hit the waypoint. 99% of the time I'm going to want to use these town services instead of trade chat, can the default always be these, with the option to select player characters with Right Stick?
