Game Freezes Update On 99.93%

Any better for anyone else? I'm at 8.33%, but have been going for almost 3 hours now.

not much better, its 12 AM where i live and ive been trying to fix this for the past 3 hours. I suppose ill just have to go to sleep and hope theres a fix in the morning.

I have tested on a different machine and have the same issue downloading the client. I also had my ISP on the phone for 30 minutes looking into it (funnily enough the rep eventually pointed me to this thread and said it looks like a few others are having the same issue).

I am disappointed to have missed the entire evening of playing PoE and would really like to be able to play some tomorrow morning. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to help troubleshoot this issue. It appears to only be affecting a few people, so I guess it is low priority...

Just want to confirm that I'm having the same issue. I'm in Washington, DC and thus using the same gateway as others in this thread.

Ive now tried manually deleting any path of exile files I have on the computer and reinstalling again, still no luck. I even disabled my malware protection and firewall and tried downloading. Last thing im going to try is downloading from steam and if that doesnt work I guess Ill have to give up.

I was having the same problem so I deleted everything poe off my pc and then downloaded it again but it wouldn't work so I went and downloaded the torrent https://www.pathofexile.com/public/PoE-3.0.0-preseed.torrent and plugged the content.ggpk in and it worked.. It did take it a min once it hit the about 50% and 99% but leave it alone. Don't be a grammar police because I am just trying to help and didn't care if it was correct as I have been trying for over 3hrs to get back up and playing.

Well steam is downloading the game just fine, I suppose I shoulda tried that eariler, but if You have steam I think the download from there is fine and working. I havent tried the other guys fix though

well that certainly sounded like a great idea but now im trying to link my poe account to my steam account and they say an email was sent but im not receiving it... i guess its connected to the same issue? lol
