How to use skill gem effect? (MTX)

I just bought the Ebony Tornado Shot skill gem effect and I'm unable to use it.
If I click on it nothing happens. What do I need to do to apply it to my Tornado Shot skill gem? Last bumped on Apr 20, 2018, 6:40:21 PM

Hello,
Your Inventory has a tab called Cosmetics. You should be able to find your skill gem there and apply the MTX to it. “Please understand that imposing strong negative views regarding our team on to other players when you are representing our most helpful forum posters is not appropriate.” — GGG 2022
