Transfer steam account

I would like to know if is possible to link my steam account (which already has a poe account) to the poe site, because when I try to link my steam account by the poe site, a message appear telling that I will lose all my accounts from the steam.
So there is a way that allows me to maintain my steam account and link with the site without lose my characters which is already in the steam? |

If you want to log in to a Steam-linked account, make sure you use "Sign in through STEAM" here: https://www.pathofexile.com/login
If you'd like to add an email address to a Steam-only account, please contact us at support@grindinggear.com and remember to let us know your account name, plus a character name or two. We'll then be able to take you through the next steps. | |

I want to thank you the staff and support by the help my account is now linked by the steam with my characters.
